The Route 66
Nach einigen Stunden im Auto sind wir heute in Oklahoma City angekommen. Hier haben wir einen traditionellen indianischen Powwow besucht, der ziemlich interessant war.
Auf unserem bisherigen Weg haben wir auch schon Einiges zu Gesicht bekommen: eine typisch amerikanische Farm, in the middle of nowhere, umgeben von riesigen Maisfeldern; the Gateway Arch in St. Louis; eine Kuh auf dem Dach; Lamas, die sich in eine Kuhherde verirrt haben; die einzige runde Scheune next to the Route 66 und einen originalen Mississippi Dampfer, leider ohne Dampf.
Wir haben auch schon einige bekannte Städte durchquert: London, Vienna, Lebanon, Paris, Carthage, Bethlehem, Miami, Eureka und viele mehr.
Morgen geht es weiter auf der Historischen Route 66 Richtung Santa Fe.
